Jocelyn provides legal representation on a broad range of national real estate transactions and disputes, and telecommunication matters.

Jocelyn advises investment fund and corporate clients on the purchase and sale of real estate, as well as the negotiation of commercial retail and office lease agreements across the U.S. She also routinely handles lease disputes. She has successfully supported clients in landlord-tenant lease disputes such as construction build out, modifications to the leased premises during the term, and end of term arrangements.

With particular emphasis in telecommunications, Jocelyn has worked with clients on large-scale digital infrastructure acquisition projects in several states. She has also advised large and entrepreneurial telecommunication companies on leasing telecommunication towers and rooftop sites across the U.S. Jocelyn has also represented landlords in leasing internal building space to internet service providers and space on telecommunication towers.

Representative Matters
  • Represented a governmental economic development authority in connection with the ground lease for a $250,000,000 conversion and development of an historic theatre in Upper Manhattan into a mixed-use residential and hotel complex with a cultural center and event space.
  • Represented a leading wireless infrastructure investment in multiple different acquisitions of tower portfolios in 32 states across the United States, with deal values in excess of $100 million, including the diligence of ground leases, easements, tower tenant leases, assignments of tower assets, title issues and aspects of the purchase and sale agreement and closing.
  • Represented an entrepreneurial broadband company in the filing of a Digital Infrastructure and Video Competition Act of 2006 state franchise and a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity before the California Public Utilities Commission.
  • Represented an international automobile company in numerous lease and development of sale and collision sites in stand-alone properties and shopping centers, including diligence of title and survey.
  • Represented a reproductive clinic in the leasing and construction of new locations in luxury shopping centers and office spaces.
  • Represented a luxury jewelry brand in its opening of its first New York location.
