A trusted advisor and deal maker, Jeff brings a practical “let’s get it done” approach to his work. From handling noteworthy mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions to providing strategic guidance in various contract matters, he balances the immediate task with the client’s larger goals and needs in the future.
Jeff has decades of experience working with entrepreneurs, startups and emerging growth companies, often engaged for the entire life cycle from formation to exit, and counseling clients through various ups and downs along the way. On the other side of that coin, Jeff has handled countless financings for a broad spectrum of capital providers from angel investors to professional investors. Jeff also represents a host of borrowers and lenders (from regional banks to money center banks) in connection with small business loans to traditional middle-market financings.
Jeff also functions as outside general counsel for various privately held businesses handling regular operational matters (governance, contract matters, partnerships and joint venture) and providing guidance to senior management and boards of directors.
He prides himself on keeping his eye on the prize, not getting lost in the weeds and is laser focused on helping his clients achieve their objectives. He is a big believer in the “rising tides” mentality and is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer, as well as a mentor to students and entrepreneurs.
