  • Supported project structuring, financing, and implementation for a development portfolio exceeding US$5 billion across more than 30,000 acres, including residential, commercial, utility, and infrastructure assets.
  • Coordinated with development, engineering, and commercial teams on two flagship mixed-use communities projected to exceed 100,000 residents each, involving transportation, power, water, drainage, utility, commercial, and residential infrastructure needed to support phased
  • Negotiated EPC contracts for roads, drainage systems, utility corridors, and supporting public infrastructure across master-planned developments, including key commercial, performance, insurance, claims-management, and dispute resolution provisions for projects with aggregate construction values exceeding US$250
  • Negotiated turnkey EPC agreements for a 75 MVA electrical substation, an approximately 50 km private electric distribution network, and related utility infrastructure, including scope of work, technical specifications, testing and commissioning, warranties, completion requirements, and handover arrangements.
  • Drafted and negotiated transaction documents and commercial arrangements for development of a Tier III data center by a leading West African commercial data center operator, supporting project delivery and the operator’s expansion
  • Currently support development-related legal work for data center developments, including a multibillion-dollar hyperscale campus and a separate data center expansion
  • Handled title and development diligence for the acquisition and development of more than 5,000 acres for utility-scale solar projects, including 25 MW facilities, with work covering land assembly, project structuring, and development risk
  • Supported legal and financing structures for a major port terminal development in Africa, including commercial structuring, risk allocation, project finance arrangements, and transaction
  • Acted as principal counsel for a Middle East-based mining equipment supplier in equipment supply and financing transactions exceeding US$21 million in aggregate value for mining operations across West and Central Africa, including negotiation of equipment supply agreements, financing arrangements, security documentation, and related commercial
  • Advised across the project lifecycle for residential and hospitality developments, including a US$120 million resort, a US$50 million gated residential community, and a US$6 million multifamily acquisition, with work spanning acquisition structuring, financing, joint ventures, development agreements, leasing, governance, and operational implementation.
  • Not-For-Profit involvement: (1) Board Secretary, Heart of the City of Neighbors and (2) Director, Jefferson Renaissance Initiative, Inc.
