Dennis W. Elsenbeck was quoted in the New York Focus article, “Why You’re Still Paying for Someone Else’s Gas Line,” which discusses how utilities are charging customers for billions of dollars worth of infrastructure upgrades, especially as the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) is put into effect. Dennis noted that New York’s electric grid isn’t ready for a full transition from natural gas. He cautions the creation of unintended consequences when we don’t know what the impact on the electric distribution system will be.
