Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Tristan D. Hujer participated as a presenter for the Cannabis Career Institute Online’s (CCI Online) virtual seminar titled “Exploring Business and Job Opportunities in the NY Cannabis Industry,” which took place on February 10, 2022. Mr. Hujer co-presented on economic and business development opportunities. The CCI Online virtual seminar also focused on topics such as market expansion and meeting social equity expectations, as well as job creation and employment opportunities.
CCI has been helping people to create their own cannabis businesses since 2009. They train teams and help assemble groups suitable to effectively start and run businesses, including dispensaries, grow-ops, edibles companies or delivery services.
Mr. Hujer is the co-leader of Phillips Lytle’s Cannabis Practice Team. He has represented growers, distributors and other businesses in significant matters in New York State. Mr. Hujer also focuses his practice on class action, business and commercial litigation and has represented companies in the financial, energy, health care and technology industries.
Mr. Hujer is a member of the American Bar Association, Bar Association of Erie County, New York State Bar Association and the New York Cannabis Growers and Processors Association.
