Read the ArticleState Supreme Court Justice Frank Sedita II dismissed two lawsuits filed by Niagara Falls residents who claimed Love Canal chemicals harmed them and their children despite government assurances that the toxic waste landfill had been cleaned up.
Partners Kevin M. Hogan and Joshua Glasgow, representing the defendant Occidental Chemical Corp., claim that Occidental has complied with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-ordered remedy which the company has no power to alter without prior EPA approval.
