Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP partner James D. Donathen and associate Patrick A. Sheldon will be presenting at the National Business Institute’s Employment Law: 2015 Comprehensive Guide live seminar on Wednesday, November 18th at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Buffalo.
Mr. Donathen will be presenting on “Drafting Must-Have Policies for Today’s Handbooks.” He has practiced in the area of workplace law and litigation for over 30 years. Mr. Donathen handles federal and state discrimination lawsuits and agency charges under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and the N.Y. Human Rights Law, and investigates and litigates employee disloyalty matters, including covenants not to compete, trade secrets, confidential information and theft of product.
Mr. Sheldon will be presenting on “Avoiding Wage and Hour Violations” and “Managing Employee Leaves of Absence.” He focuses his practice on trial, appellate and administrative litigation, with a particular emphasis on labor and employment matters, as well as general civil and commercial litigation.
