Jeffrey M. Monaco

Partner Buffalo

Since joining the firm in 2012, Jeff has focused his practice on representing lenders in a wide range of loan transactions, both regionally and nationally. From small business and middle-market lending to large syndicated and participated loans, he works closely with clients at all stages of the loan structuring, closing and post-closing process.

Jeff enjoys the variety of representing community and regional banks, national lenders and other types of financial institutions in commercial real estate loans, construction loans and asset-based loans. He also regularly represents foreign lenders in advising on U.S. collateral and security components of cross-border transactions.

Jeff also represents borrowers on the financial components of various development projects. He joins his fellow colleagues in the Corporate Practice Group to assist with a team-effort approach for some of the firm’s largest developer clients, both on a local and regional scale.

A frequent presenter at lender credit and loan approval committee meetings, Jeff has been recognized as an Upstate New York Super Lawyers® Rising Star.
