ASSOCIATION OF ERIE COUNTY CLE EVENT “LIFE AFTER LAW SCHOOL”
Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Jennifer A. Beckage will speak at “Life After Law School”, a two day CLE event being held by the Bar Association of Erie County beginning on Friday, July 14. Day one of the program will take place at the Bar Association of Erie County at 438 Main Street in Buffalo. The CLE is primarily designed for newly admitted attorneys to assist them in bridging the gap between law school and the realities of the practice of law.
Ms. Beckage’s presentation is titled “Tips for Starting and Building A Practice/What Every New Lawyer Needs to Know.”
Ms. Beckage concentrates her practice on complex business disputes and commercial litigation involving, among other things, data breaches, cyber attacks, ransomware, intellectual property, employee disloyalty, violations of non-compete agreements and other employment matters, breaches of contract, fraud matters, food product litigation, class actions, corporate compliance with regulatory bodies and government investigations. She is an active mentor to the firm’s new associates.
Before beginning her legal career, Ms. Beckage was an owner of a technology-based company.
