PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER JENNIFER A. BECKAGE TO SPEAK AT BAR ASSOCIATION OF ERIE COUNTY CLE EVENT “LIFE AFTER LAW SCHOOL”
Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Jennifer A. Beckage will speak at “Life After Law School”, a three day CLE event being held by the Bar Association of Erie County beginning on Friday, April 29. Day one of the program will take place at the Bar Association of Erie County at 438 Main Street in Buffalo. The CLE is primarily designed for newly admitted attorneys to assist them in bridging the gap between law school and the realities of the practice of law.
Ms. Beckage’s presentation is titled “What Every Lawyer Needs to Know.” She board member for the Bar Association of Erie County, and is the board’s liaison for the Life After Law School event.
Ms. Beckage concentrates her practice on complex business disputes and commercial litigation involving, among other things, intellectual property, employee disloyalty, violations of non-compete agreements and other employment matters, breaches of contract, fraud matters, food product litigation, class actions, and corporate compliance with regulatory bodies. She is an active mentor to the firm’s new associates.
Before beginning her legal career, Ms. Beckage was an owner of a technology-based company.
