IAN K. PORTNOY, SENIOR COUNSEL WITH PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP WILL DELIVER OPENING REMARKS AT THE INAUGURAL C-SUITE 2.0 EVENT IN WASHINGTON, D.C. 

Washington, D.C. – Ian K. Portnoy, senior counsel with Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, will deliver opening remarks at the inaugural C-Suite 2.0 event in Washington, D.C., on April 30, 2015.

The event, titled “Leadership, Collaboration, and Social Impact: The Art of Leading Iconic Institutions During Times of Disruption,” will be co-hosted by C-Suite 2.0, THRUUE and Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL). The program will take place at JLL’s corporate offices, located at 1801 K Street NW, Suite 1000, in Washington, D.C. from 4:30 p.m. -6:30 p.m.

The evening will feature a dialogue with two change leaders: Mitchell B. Reiss, President and CEO of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and Rob Sokol, COO of the Washington National Cathedral. The conversation will focus on how leaders can manage and drive change in times of disruption, achieving new levels of impact for their organizations.

Attendees will also join C-Suite 2.0 creators Daniel Forrester and Derrick Mashore for an intimate gathering of purpose-driven C-Suite leaders who work to solve massive social problems.

Mr. Portnoy focuses his practice on not-for-profit and corporate activities, including corporate governance and board/CEO relationships. Among his clients are educational institutions at all levels.

He is nationally known for his work involving infrastructure development and finance, with particular expertise in representing developers of public/private projects throughout the U.S.

He has been extensively involved in the privatization of facilities on military bases, enhanced use leases and the development of energy facilities on military bases. Mr. Portnoy has a wealth of experience in power purchase agreements with U.S. and foreign energy companies.

He earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, and his B.A., with honors, from the University of Michigan.
