PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP ATTORNEYS MARY E. BURGESS AND FATIN HADDAD TO PARTICIPATE IN ALBANY LAW SCHOOL EVENT “CAREER CONNECTIONS – PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS”
Albany, N.Y. – Mary E. Burgess and Fatin Haddad, attorneys with Phillips Lytle LLP, will participate in the Albany Law School event “Career Connections – Pathways to Success.” The second annual program is dedicated to helping Albany Law students learn about a variety of practice areas in one evening. Ms. Burgess and Ms. Haddad are Albany Law School alumni.
Ms. Burgess focuses her practice in the energy and telecommunications sectors. She has extensive experience handling regulatory proceedings and investigations of issues related to telecommunications network reliability and security before the New York Public Service Commission. In addition, Ms. Burgess’ background includes advising business units on legal issues regarding data security, cyber breaches, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Ms. Burgess previously served as Staff Counsel in the Department of Public Service.
Ms. Haddad concentrates her practice in the areas of corporate law and counseling. Her experience includes partnering directly with business leaders to address and resolve their multiple legal needs in a wide variety of industries, including energy, construction and manufacturing. Prior to joining Phillips Lytle, Ms. Haddad was part of the in-house legal team of a U.S. energy company that completed the development, construction and sale of a wind farm valued at over $100 million.
